Expand your listing inventory

Give your agents a larger rental
inventory.

Start with the listings your business already has, then add rentals from four more sources. YGL brings all five into one unified search.

Available listing sources depend on your market, account, and permissions.

Four ways to add more listings

Expand your rental inventory with four additional sources.

Each source adds rentals beyond the listings your business already has. Here is where those listings come from, what you need, and how they stay updated.

01

YGL Listings Directory

Directly Advertised Listings

See rentals that landlords, property managers, listing agents, and brokerages advertise directly in YGL’s Listings Directory.

Where the listings come from
Landlords, property managers, listing agents, and brokerages advertise their own listings directly in YGL.
What you need to know
What you can see and use depends on what the advertiser allows and on local laws.
How they are updated
The advertiser keeps the listing updated. If something is wrong, ask the advertiser to correct it.
02

Public rental websites

Public Website Listings

See rentals advertised on public websites that YGL supports, giving agents another place to find available listings.

Where the listings come from
Landlord and property management websites, rental websites, and other public listings.
What you need to know
Verify listing details and obtain permission before advertising. Listing access does not itself establish representation or a right to a brokerage fee.
How they are updated
YGL checks each source on its own schedule. Send correction requests to YGL.
03

Supported MLS systems

MLS Listings

Add rental listings from MLS systems that connect with YGL. We currently support MLSPIN in Massachusetts and MRED in Illinois.

Where the listings come from
A direct connection to an MLS that YGL supports.
What you need
A paid YGL account, membership in a supported MLS, and any approval required by your broker or MLS. Extra fees may apply.
How they are updated
Make changes in the MLS, not in YGL. YGL receives those changes based on the MLS update schedule.
04

YGL Data Entry service

YGL Data Entry Listings

Send us the availability sheets you receive from landlords. Our Data Entry team turns them into listings and keeps them updated for you.

Where the listings come from
Availability sheets that landlords send to you and you forward to YGL.
What you need
This paid add-on is available in Illinois, Massachusetts, and New York. The sheets must follow YGL’s formatting guidelines.
How they are updated
We usually update listings within 24–48 hours after receiving a sheet. Send change requests to YGL.

From search to completed deal

One inventory. One search. One connected rental workflow.

A larger inventory improves every step—from the listings agents can search and offer renters to matching-listing emails and the complete application-to-lease process.

01

Search a comprehensive rental database

Search your own listings together with four additional sources, giving agents one of the most comprehensive rental databases to work from.

02

Give renters more listings to search

Make a broader selection available to prospective renters. Offering more choices creates a better search experience and helps your agents look more professional.

03

Send more matching listing updates

Set renters and leads up to receive emails when new listings match their search criteria. With more listing sources, they are more likely to receive useful updates.

04

Continue from application to signed lease

Once a renter finds a home, move the deal through applications, credit reports, document collection, and lease signing in one connected workflow.

Give your agents more rentals to search and more opportunities to help every renter.
