YGL Chat Now Available Between Users in Your Account
04 September 2010We are excited to announce that YGL Chat is now available between users in your account. If you have used Facebook Chat or Google Chat, you’ll feel right at home. When you log into your account, you’ll find the new chat bar at the lower right hand corner.
Our experiences show that offices that have a collaborative yet competitive culture tend to do better. Our system aims to encourage collaboration and information sharing between users by giving them ways to communicate easily with each other, even if they are not working in the same location.
In the near future, we are going to allow you and your users to chat with landlords and other approved agents on the YGL network. More importantly, we will also give you the ability to see and chat with renters on your website in realtime. Stay tuned.
I think this is a fabulous idea ! In our office we already use live.com chat to communicate between agents, no matter where we are. Being able to extend that via YGL to landlords etc…that is powerful. Speach in the office is noisy and distractive. “Chat” online is much better.
We just added the ability for landlords and brokers to chat with each other in YGL. However, the landlords are not typically online at this time of the year. Thanks for the great feedback Irina. – Gordon

I think this is a great feature although I’d rather not see the invisible feature and would rather see all users who are currently online as the Admin. Dont fight technology OG but embrace it.
