MLS Listings Available Now on Office Website Widgets

Many clients have asked us to include MLS data in the office website widgets.  Thank you for your suggestion.  We are happy to let you know that it is now available.  Currently, MLS data is available in MA (MLSPIN) and IL (MRED).  To enable it, you will need to provide us with your office MLS ID.  Please go to Account -> Update Account Info.

Partial Listing ID Search

You can now also search for listing by its partial id.  For example, if a listing has id BOS-001-382, you can now enter “382″, and it’ll bring up that listing and any other listings with “382″ in the id.  Sometimes, when a client calls, it is much easier for them to provide you with the last 3 digits than the whole id.

Two New Feeds Went Live!

No, it’s not Zillow (yet), that is still being reviewed.  Your ads went live on hotigloos.com about a week ago, and I know some of you already got leads from them.  Yesterday, your ads also went live on Trovit.com.  Hope they’ll bring us another source of good leads and traffic.

We have a few more feeds in the works and will update you as they become live.

Reminders on Dashboard Moved

Hi Everyone, we moved the reminders position on the Dashboard to the right.  Many of you complained that when there are many reminders, it blocks the users from seeing the feeds.  This should solve this problem.  Thank you for your feedback.

Android App Updated to Ver 2.3 & An status update on iPhone App

Hi everyone.  We are very excited to bring you yet another update to our Android app.  It is on version 2.3 now.  The new version brings the much needed functionality to add, update and delete listings on the road.  Hopefully, this makes it much easier for you and your users to keep listings updated throughout the day as you visit apartments.

To update your existing app, from your Android phone, go to App Marketplace -> My Apps -> YouGotListings Mobile.  From there, you should see the “Update” button.

We are moving onto the next feature already, and this one will be very cool.  Stay tuned.

iPhone App Status Update

We know many of you are waiting for the

iPhone app.  The good news is that is mostly ready.  We’ll be submitting it to the App Store for approval in the next day or so.  If things go smoothly, it’ll be available next week.  Again, stay tuned.

Zillow Feed is Almost Ready – Your Action Required!!

If you have a premium account with us, we have good news for you.  Our Zillow feed is almost live.  With some help from Zillow, we are finally going to feed your listings to them.  Hopefully, this will provide you with another great source of leads.  Please read on, as your action might be required.

Full Address Will Be Displayed

Zillow requires that all listings disclose full address, which we know might be an issue to some of you.  While YGL cannot change Zillow’s policies, we want to give you control over your listings.  With our Zillow setup, you can choose to feed all listings, selected listings or not feed to them at all.  If you have an manager / admin account, you can access this option in Account -> Date Feeds.

To select particular listings you want to include IN the feed, you need to do two things:

1.  Change the Zillow Feed setting to “Yes” and only Listing Selection to “Only Listings Tagged with Zillow.com”.

2.  Tag listings you want to feed with “Zillow.com”

THE ZILLOW FEED WILL BE GOING LIVE IN THE NEXT 48 HOURS, IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE INCLUDED OR WANT TO SELECT PARTICULAR LISTINGS, PLEASE DO SO ASAP.

Is Your Custom Zillow Feed On?

We noticed many of you have the Zillow custom feed on.  This means your listings will not be included in our standard Zillow feed.  The custom feed allows you to feed to Zillow separately.  But be sure you know your custom feed is live on Zillow, otherwise, you should turn it off so your listings will be included with our standard Zillow feed.

New Email Subscription Management

Many of you were confused with our previous email subscription model, especially how to re-subscribe if you accidentally unsubscribed.

To help you better control your email subscriptions, we just added the email subscription management feature into the YGL system.  The new feature allows you to easily manage what types of emails you would like to receive from YGL.

To access your subscriptions, go to Account -> Email Subscriptions.
